Pumpkin Bread Recipe
1/3 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
1 2/3 cups flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cloves
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and pumpkin. Mix well. Add 1/2 of sifted dry ingredients and 1/2 of water. Mix well. Add remaining dry ingredients and remaining water. Mix again. Stir in pecans. Spray a loaf pan with Pam and them coat with flour. Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes until brown.
